20th October 2019: 200 Years of the new church of the Monastery of Xenofontos


One stamp with a value of € 2,50 depicting the new church of the Monastery of Xenofontos on Mount Athos. The monastery itself dates from the tenth or eleventh century but the church was built in 1819. The stamps were printed in sheetlets of 25 stamps and sheetlets with one stamp each.

9th May 2019: Europe - National Birds


Two stamps depicting local birds. The stamp with a value of €0,90 has the image of a Western rock Nuthatch

(Sitta Neumayer) and the stamp with a value of €3,40 shows an Eleonora's Falcon (Falco Eleonorae). They were partly printed in sheets of 16 stamps with the two stamps joined together (i.e. 8 complete sets per sheet) and the rest was printed separately in sheets of 8 stamps. They were also sold in booklets with two pairs of stamps, without perforation on two sides. A curosity; if you scan the stamps with the CEE-App on a mobile device you can hear the birds whistle.

A set of four stamps with designs by young artists depicting the theme's: Learning to be Smoke Free (€0,72), 1st Prize UNESCO – 13th Trikala Elementary School (€0,72), Logo SmokeFreeGreece (€0,90) and World Children’s Book Day (€2,50), issued in sheets of 25 stamps. At the same time, a booklet with 10 different self-adhesive stamps, with a value-indicator for the lowest overseas weight is issued with the theme "learning to be smoke free".
