The Hellenic Philatelic Society of the Netherlands processes personal data to carry out its objective of promoting interest in the collection of Greek stamps and postal items.
You share personal information with us if you contact us. For example, your name, telephone number or e-mail address, but also the IP address of your computer. It concerns all data that we can relate to you as a result of our mutual contact.

Do you want to know what kind of your personal data we have recorded? Then you use the 'Right of access'. Or do you want to change your data or have it removed and use the 'Right to correction'? Then you can ask us for this. You can also object to the processing of your personal data.

Security of personal data
We are obliged to properly secure our systems and personal data. We handle the personal information you share with us carefully. We solve data leaks and register them. We also report them to the authorities and to you if necessary. Only the members of the board, the Audit Committee and the web administrator can (partially) view and process your data.
Storage period personal data
We do not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which you provide your information. And as long as the law requires us to keep personal data. Exactly how long that is differs.
For our web analysis, we measure and analyse the behaviour of visitors on our website by our website host. The collected general visitor data (it concerns the IP address of your computer, the time of retrieval and data that the browser of a visitor sends) are anonymised and totalled by the website host. The retention period of the anonymized data is one year. Then they are automatically removed.

Membership costs €25 annually with a digital subscription to the Hermes. If you want to receive the Hermes also on paper, the contribution is €37,50 within The Netherlands, and € 50 for foreign members.
